This is the R 380 short bellhousing part number TRC103140, type 44A. This box is technically a replacement for the 200 TDi Defender LT77 type 56A and is a direct swap for the 4 Cyl LT77 but you will also need a new diff lock linkage which we can supply free of change on request. These are brand new crated latest suffix "L" spec, far stronger than the LT77. This R 380 can also be used to replace the earlier 4Cyl type 50A LT77 used on the pre 200 Tdi Defenders but the gearing is slightly higher, approx 5% but this is usually a good thing as the 50A is usually a bit to low. These are obviously more expensive than a rebuilt LT77 but if you are building a vehicle to last or planning expedition work this is money well spent.
